Need a 10 minute email? Set the timer you want

A 10 minute email, also called 10 min mail or ten minute email, is the classic disposable address: get a code, then let it vanish. It works well until the email you need takes longer than expected, which happens often with order confirmations, password resets and some games.

10 minutes, or whatever you need

1. Your address is already above. By default it lasts 1 hour.
2. Press Change duration and tap 10 min, or type any time from 5 minutes to 30 days.
3. Press Save duration. The countdown and the bar show exactly how much time is left.
4. Waiting longer than planned? Change the duration again. The address stays the same.

Why 10 minutes is sometimes not enough

• Some websites send the confirmation email only after a few minutes.
• Free trials often send an important email days later.
• You may need to come back to the same inbox to reset a password.

For those cases, pick 1 day or 7 days instead, or read our guide on how long a temporary email should last.

Even shorter: close after the first email

If you only need one code, turn on Close after first email in Change duration. The address closes 10 minutes after the first email arrives, so it never stays open longer than needed.
